Grade 1 – Screen 18

• Largest Robusta beans (diameter 18/64 inch or more).
• Lowest defect count and highest uniformity in bean size.
• Higher cup quality with a more balanced flavor and smoother texture.

Grade 1 – Screen 16

• Relatively large beans (diameter 16/64 inch).
• Low defect count, slightly higher than Screen 18.
• High quality with a strong, classic Robusta flavor.
• Ideal for espresso blends and international exports.

Grade 2 – Screen 13

• Medium to smaller-sized beans (diameter 13/64 inch).
• Higher defect count compared to Grade 1.
• Stronger, more bitter taste with lower acidity.
• Commonly used for bulk coffee production and instant coffee.
